This year, the couple is inviting you to take a step into their magical holiday village in Garden Grove.
The Petro’s had been collecting and setting up the displays since they moved into their house in 2000. But it was only in 2009 when they decided to open it up to visitors. Since then, they have been amazed by the number of people who come out each year. In 2018 alone, approximately 500 people flocked to see their holiday village!
The display consists of 11 rooms that are spread out across two stories of the house. Each room has its own theme, making it feel like you’re visiting different parts of the world. This week’s curated selection of Best Unbuilt Architecture highlights visionary homes by the ArchDaily community. From a prefabricated house to supporting Ukraine war victims, a modular multi-story house highlighted during the Dutch Design Week, and a villa “shaped” by the Dubai coastline wind flow, this round-up of unbuilt projects showcases how architects move forward from the conventional residence concept to project alternative habitational standards in responding to harsh environments, nature, and technology. Let’s take a look at some of these incredible designs!
Prefabricated House in Ukraine This prefabricated house was designed to help support victims of the war in Ukraine. The house is composed of two modules that can be easily assembled on site without any special tools or extra construction materials. It features a shed roof with gable ends and an open front porch, allowing for plenty of natural light and ventilation. Additionally, it has an insulated floor and walls made out of light steel frame construction and equipped with high-performance insulation materials. With its simple construction techniques, this prefabricated house provides comfortable living conditions for those affected by conflict in Ukraine.
Modular Multi-Story House This modular multi-story house was featured during the Dutch Design Week. It is constructed from recycled wood offcuts and has a unique form that emphasizes its connection to nature. The interior layout is split into two levels; upstairs there are two bedrooms and one bathroom while downstairs there is an open plan kitchen/living/dining area plus additional space for storage, laundry facilities, as well as direct access to the garden. The structure also includes large windows which provide plenty of natural light as well as views over the garden below.
Villa Shaped by Dubai Coastline Wind Flow Designed to blend seamlessly into its environment while providing residents with stunning views over Dubai’s coastline, this villa takes advantage of strong wind flows along the coastline using carefully designed openings in its walls that provide cooling breezes throughout the building. The exterior walls feature triangular cutouts which add visual interest while still allowing for plenty of natural light inside. Inside is an open plan design featuring several different seating areas as well as two distinct outdoor spaces ideal for entertaining guests or relaxing after a long day outside in Dubai’s scorching heat!
These three visionary unbuilt architecture projects show just how far architects are pushing boundaries when it comes to designing homes that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing while responding to harsh environments or limited resources such as materials or energy sources. From prefabricated houses that can be quickly assembled on site without any special tools or extra construction materials to villas shaped by wind flow along coastlines, these projects showcase how architects are using creative solutions to create beautiful living spaces that meet our needs while still respecting nature’s resources.

It can be difficult to watch a loved one suffer from any sort of addiction, whether it’s alcohol, drugs, gambling, or even hoarding. If you have a loved one who is struggling with hoarding, it’s important to be supportive and understanding—but it’s also important to know when to draw the line. After all, hoarders often have difficulty throwing anything away, which can lead to extreme clutter in the home and unsanitary living conditions.
If you’re wondering how to help a loved one who’s a hoarder, there are a few things you can do:
Encourage Them to Seek Help One of the best things you can do is encourage your loved one to seek professional help. A therapist who specializes in OCD or anxiety may be able to help them work through their issues with hoarding. There are also hoarding support groups available in many cities and online.
Offer to Help Them Clean Up Hoarding can be an overwhelming problem, so offer to help your loved one clean up their home. This may be a difficult task, but it’s important to be patient and understanding. Remember, they’re not getting rid of their stuff because they don’t want to; they’re getting rid of it because they need to.
Be supportive and understanding but firm in your resolve. Your loved one needs your help—but they also need to want to help themselves. If they’re unable or unwilling to make changes, you may need to distance yourself from the situation for your own sake. But remember, you’re not giving up on them; you’re just taking care of yourself first and foremost.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved playing the coin pusher game at the arcade. There’s something so satisfying about dropping a coin in and watching it push all the other coins over the edge. I always dreamed of winning the jackpot, but it never seemed like it was meant to be. That is until recently…
I recently came across a video on YouTube of a guy playing a coin pusher game with a $5,000 buy in. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I had to know more, so I did some digging and found out that there are actually quite a few high risk coin pushers out there with big money jackpots.
I decided to take the plunge and buy in to one of these games. I put down $5,000 and started playing. It was nerve-wracking, but also exhilarating. I ended up winning over $40,000! It was an incredible feeling to finally hit the jackpot after all these years.
If you love playing the coin pusher game as much as I do, then you’ll definitely want to check out some of these high risk games with big money jackpots. Just remember to set aside a healthy bankroll before you start playing. Good luck!

That’s all for this week’s recap! Tune in next week to see which bots will be fighting and what kind of carnage they’ll unleash on each other. Until then, bot fans!
Russia is scrambling to pull its military personnel and citizens out of the city of Kherson ahead of a Ukrainian counter-offensive. This comes as no surprise to the people of Kherson, who have been living in fear ever since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
One family, who wished to remain anonymous, has been documenting their secret life under Russian occupation. They have released a series of videos that show the everyday reality of life in Kherson. The videos are capturing international attention and giving a rare glimpse into the lives of ordinary Ukrainians.
The family’s videos show Russian soldiers patrolling the streets and occupying buildings. There is a heavy military presence in Kherson, and the people are living in fear of being arrested or killed. The videos also show the family going about their everyday lives, despite the dangers that they face. They go to school and work, they cook and clean, and they care for their children.
It is heart-wrenching to see this young family living in such conditions. They should be enjoying their lives, but instead they are living in constant fear. Nobody should have to live through anything like that, especially a beautiful young child like that. I sincerely hope that this family, and every family in Ukraine, are safe.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved fishing. There’s something about being out on the open water, surrounded by nature, that just makes me feel at peace. Of course, the fact that you can catch dinner while you’re at it doesn’t hurt either! Recently, I decided that it was time to take my passion for fishing to the next level by embarking on a quest to become a master fisherman. Here’s what I’ve learned so far.
One of the most important things that I’ve learned is that there’s more to fishing than just dropping a line in the water and waiting for a fish to bite. In order to be successful, you need to have an understanding of the environment that you’re fishing in as well as the behavior of the fish that you’re trying to catch. For example, did you know that different types of fish are attracted to different types of bait? It’s true! If you’re hoping to catch Bass, for example, using live bait is generally more effective than using lures.
Of course, even if you’re using the right bait, there’s no guarantee that you’ll catch anything. That’s why it’s also important to understand how to set your hook properly. If your hook isn’t set correctly, there’s a good chance that the fish will get away before you even realize that you’ve got a bite. Trust me, I know from experience! setting your hook correctly takes practice, but it’s definitely worth it when you finally do manage to reel in a big one.
Catching fish isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely rewarding. These days, I’m happy to say that I’m well on my way to becoming a master fisherman. Who knows? Maybe someday I’ll even be able to teach others how to do it too! Until then, I’ll just keep practicing and perfecting my techniques.
Fishing is a great way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. In this blog post, we’ll give you a brief overview of what you need to get started fishing. All you really need is a rod, some bait, and a body of water – but there are a few other things that can make your fishing experience more enjoyable.
The first thing you’ll need is a fishing rod. Rods come in all shapes and sizes, so it’s important to choose one that’s comfortable for you to use. If you’re not sure what kind of rod to get, ask a friend or go to a local tackle shop and ask for help. Once you have your rod, you’ll also need some line and hooks. You can find these at most sporting goods stores or online.
The next thing you’ll need is some bait. This can be live bait, like worms or minnows, or artificial lures. If you’re not sure what kind of bait to use, again, ask a friend or visit a tackle shop. Once you have your bait, the next step is finding a place to fish. If you don’t have access to a boat, that’s okay – there are plenty of good spots on shore where you can cast your line.
Finally, once you’ve found a spot to fish, it’s time to cast your line and see what bites! Remember to take your time and enjoy the experience. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing, so don’t get too stressed out if you don’t catch anything right away. Sometimes it takes patience and practice to become a successful angler.
Fishing is a great way to spend time with friends or family, relax outdoors, and hopefully catch dinner! With just a few supplies and some patience, anyone can enjoy this rewarding hobby. So grab your rod and head to the nearest body of water – who knows what you might reel in!
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at fishing, but didn’t know where to start? Well, you’ve come to the right place! This beginner’s guide to fishing will give you all the information you need to get started.
Fishing can be a fun and relaxing hobby for people of all ages. It’s a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. And, of course, it’s always satisfying to catch a fish! But before you head out to your local pond or lake, there are a few things you should know.
The first thing you’ll need is a fishing rod and reel. You can purchase these at most sporting goods stores. make sure to get a rod and reel that are appropriate for the type of fish you’re hoping to catch. For example, if you’re planning on catching trout, you’ll need a different setup than if you’re trying to catch bass.
Next, you’ll need some bait. Again, the type of bait you’ll need depends on the type of fish you’re trying to catch. Common types of bait include minnows, worms, and flies. You can purchase bait at most tackle shops or bait stores. As for where to fish, that really depends on your preference. Some people like to fish from the bank, while others prefer to rent a boat. If you’re just getting started, it might be a good idea to ask around and see if any of your friends or family members have a favorite spot they’re willing to share with you. Finally, when you’re out on the water, be sure to follow all the laws and regulations in place regarding fishing. Different states have different rules and regulations, so be sure to do your research before heading out.
Fishing is a fun and rewarding hobby that anyone can enjoy. With this beginner’s guide, you’ll have everything you need to get started. So dust off that old rod and reel and head out for an adventure!
